Lily Allen and her husband David Harbour had a romantic evening out at a New York Knicks game on Wednesday, November 1st. They were seated next to Keegan-Michael Key and his wife, Elle Key, as they cheered on the Cleveland Cavaliers who emerged victorious. Lily chose a stylish beige sweater and black trousers for the occasion, while David opted for a casual all-black outfit.
The couple went on an outing together, marking two months since they celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary. Allen expressed her joy on Instagram in September, posting a photo from their wedding and stating, "Sharing 3 years with this guy - the second best decision I ever made. The first was choosing that dress."
Allen and Harbour made their first public appearance together in August 2019 when they were seen attending a play in London. However, it wasn't until they made their red carpet debut at a Skin Cancer Foundation event in October of the same year that they officially confirmed their romance.
Allen confirmed her engagement to Harbour in May 2020, following initial speculation in late 2019. Our confirmation came in September 2020 when the couple exchanged vows in Las Vegas.
One month after the ceremony, Allen opened up about the significance of communication in her relationship with Harbour following her separation from her ex-husband Sam Cooper.
"I wasn't able to effectively express my desires and needs, leading to a breakdown in our relationship," Allen explained in an October 2020 interview with the sex toy company Womanizer. Allen and Cooper, aged 45, have two daughters together, Ethel (11) and Marnie (10), and ended their marriage in 2016 after being together for five years. "I definitely don't want to repeat that experience," Allen emphasized regarding her divorce. "I am deeply in love and content in this relationship with David, and maintaining open communication in all aspects is crucial."
During a June 2021 interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Harbour shared a heartwarming anecdote about how Allen's children played a role in convincing him to marry her amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. While biking in the countryside, the younger child referred to Harbour as "David, Dad," causing confusion. This upset the older child who vehemently denied Harbour as their father. However, the younger child acknowledged Harbour's presence by stating, "Well, what is he? He's kind of our dad." To which the older child responded, "No, he's not. He's just some guy in our lives!"

After that moment, Harbour realized it was a wake-up call for him, prompting him to think, "I must marry this woman." He jokingly referred to the emotional fallout as the reason behind his decision. Following their two-year marriage, a source revealed that Harbour and Allen have grown even closer, strengthening their bond.
In December 2022, an insider revealed that Lily and David make a fantastic team. They share a deep love for one another and feel immensely grateful to have found each other. Not only are they passionately drawn to one another, with an undeniable chemistry, but they are also best friends. Whether they are enjoying a relaxing time in front of the TV or baking with the kids, their bond is equally as strong as during their glamorous nights out. The source further stated that Allen and Harbour have evolved from their wild pasts and now find more fulfillment in meaningful aspects of life.
"They are avid readers, enjoy exploring new destinations and thrilling adventures as a couple, dedicate themselves to intense workouts, and indulge in playful games," the insider revealed. "Despite the challenges of managing their busy careers, they have successfully balanced their commitments and are now experiencing even greater happiness."
