Liam McDermott, Tori Spelling's Son, Receives Foot Surgery

Tori Spelling revealed her and Dean McDermott’s eldest child, Liam, is undergoing foot surgery.
On December 13, the 50-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star took to her Instagram Stories to express her love and support for her son Liam as he prepared for foot surgery. "My 1st baby waiting to go into foot surgery...Not sure who's more nervous him or mama," she wrote. Despite her own anxiety, Spelling commended Liam's bravery: "@liammcdermott and things can only get better after this." Spelling did not reveal the reason for Liam's surgery.
Liam is the oldest of the five children that Spelling and McDermott have together. They also have daughters Stella, 15, and Hattie, 12, and sons Finn, 11, and Beau, 6. McDermott has another son, Jack, 24, with his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace.

The Spelling-McDermott family has been going through a rough patch lately. In June, McDermott revealed on Instagram that he and Spelling were divorcing, though he later removed the post.
More recently, McDermott admitted to the Daily Mail that he has not been in contact with Spelling or their children since the announcement. During a November 15 interview, McDermott opened up about the Instagram post that revealed their separation and mentioned that Spelling had urged him to seek treatment after he drunkenly shared their marital issues online. He has since completed a 40-day rehab program over the summer and is currently residing in a sober living home with other men.
“Up to now, all Tori has ever wanted is for me to be happy and healthy, and I have caused her a lot of damage and pain. I am taking responsibility for that today,” Dean told the Daily Mail, confirming his separation from Spelling. “It is the most significant amend that I will ever have to make.”

Following his breakup with Spelling, McDermott has been seen frequently with Lily Calo, even sharing a kiss while dropping her off at LAX. Meanwhile, Spelling has been seen getting close with CEO Ryan Cramer.
Spelling and McDermott met in 2005 on the set of a made-for-tv movie shot in Canada while they were both married to other people. They wed in May 2006.
