Finding and Processing Amber in Lego Fortnite

Amber is found in the dry valley, on top of the plateaus in the region.Amber is found in the dry valley biome, which is a desert area. Unfortunately, the biome locations are generated randomly when you make a world, so it isn't in a set location. However, it seems like the dry valley can be found by heading in the opposite direction of the snowy area. You should be able to see icy mountains from your starting village location, so try heading in the opposite direction. Occasionally, the NPCs will recommend you find materials from the desert and will give you a cardinal direction to head in to find it, so try talking to them, too. The dry valley features tall plateaus, which are visible from a reasonable distance, so also try looking for those.

How to process rough amber

After gathering your rough amber, it is necessary to process it into regular amber in order to use it for crafting. You will need to unlock the Gem Cutter, another processing tool, after collecting your first amber deposit. The materials needed for building the Gem Cutter are as follows:

20 Marble Slabs (Marble is found in forest caves, becomes a slab after being put in a Stone Breaker)

5 Rough Amber

5 Sand Claws (dropped by tan wolves in the dry valley)

3 Sand Shells (dropped by rollers found in the dry valley)

The Gem Cutter will process Rough Amber into Amber at a 1:1 ratio, like most other processing machines.
