Lego Fortnite: How to Obtain Marble

Discover the ultimate guide to locating and extracting valuable marble deposits in the immersive world of Lego Fortnite

Where to find marble in Lego Fortnite

To start off in Lego Fortnite, you can make do with the resources near your spawn point for the first couple of hours. However, as you progress, you'll need to upgrade to better materials, as basic granite won't suffice. The next step up is marble, but unlike the initial resources, it's not readily available. You'll have to go searching for it.

Marble can only be found deep in caves and not on the surface. Stick to the temperate caves for now, as the ones in the desert and snowy regions may be too challenging if you're playing by normal survival rules.

Once you enter the cave, keep an eye out for the abundant presence of white rock patches covering the walls. It's ubiquitous and hard to overlook. However, if you've brought along a common (white) pickaxe, you'll quickly realize that it's not strong enough to extract this resource.

How to mine marble in Lego Fortnite

Even though Marble is pretty common, being a tier 2 material means that you'll need an uncommon (green) pickaxe to mine it. To craft this pickaxe, you'll require skeleton bones and knotroot rods, which are obtained from knotroot. Knotroot is found all over cave systems, but you'll need an uncommon (green) forest axe to gather it. Luckily, we've prepared a comprehensive guide on knotroot that has everything you need to know, including how to acquire an uncommon forest axe.

After acquiring knotroot rods and skeleton bones, you can create an unusual pickaxe to mine marble. Interestingly, you can also use dynamite to mine marble, but that may be a more advanced technique at this stage. Dynamite is often more effective than a pickaxe, especially when dealing with large marble deposits.

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z fan of Lego Fortnite, I am excited about the new challenge of obtaining marble in the game. The fact that it can only be found deep in caves adds an element of adventure and exploration to the game, which I find very appealing. I also appreciate the detailed instructions provided in the article, as they will help me navigate the caves and find the marble deposits more easily.

However, I am a bit disappointed that marble requires an uncommon (green) pickaxe to extract. This means that I will have to spend time and resources gathering the necessary materials to craft the pickaxe before I can even start mining marble. I wish the game would make it a bit easier for players to obtain higher-tier materials, as it can be frustrating to be limited by the tools and resources available.
