During her show at Madison Square Garden on October 1, Stevie Nicks, 75, made an exciting announcement: Mattel had approached her a year ago to create an official Barbie doll in her likeness. Nicks shared her initial feeling of being overwhelmed, wondering if the doll would truly capture her essence, spirit, and heart.

Nicks also pondered over the genesis of the doll while speaking with Vulture. "This has been such a personal matter. I never anticipated such an incredible response to her," she shared. "It brings a smile to my face because it affirms that I was absolutely certain at 27 when I declared, 'This is exactly what I want.' It encapsulates who I was back then and who I still am today."
