Law Roach Teases Zendaya's Future Style Evolution with Bold Statements

Law Roach, Zendaya's image stylist, is excited about bringing a new daring style era to Zendaya. Roach, who has been working with the 27-year-old actress for a long time, shared that he is eager to introduce elements of "porn" and "hardcore sex" into Zendaya's wardrobe.

At the Challengers premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 16, he expressed his interest in exploring how porn and hardcore sex can inspire fashion. "I would just love to dive into the world of porn and see how I can translate porn and hardcore sex into fashion," he told Complex.

Roach is well-known for creating unique fashion looks for Zendaya that perfectly match her movie roles. Throughout the Challengers press tour, Zendaya has been seen wearing tennis-inspired outfits. In the film, she plays Tashi Duncan, a tennis prodigy whose career ends due to an injury.

Tashi decides to start coaching her husband, Mike Faist, in tennis. As he struggles with a losing streak, she arranges a challenger event with his former best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend, Josh O'Connor.

Weeks before the Challengers press tour began, Zendaya was busy promoting Dune: Part Two. The movie is set on the desert planet Arrakis in the year 10191, so Zendaya wore sand-inspired outfits for the occasion.

One of her memorable looks was a cyborg suit from Mugler's fall/winter 1995 couture collection. The suit had robotic armor and clear plastic detailing on her breasts and thighs. Zendaya took some photos in this outfit before changing into a sleek black gown with a cowl neckline.

Roach spoke enthusiastically about the design in an interview with Vogue back in February. He mentioned how it was a dream come true to not only touch the outfit but also receive approval for it to be worn the way it was styled.

He also expressed his admiration for the craftsmanship of the outfit, noting that it was 30 years old. During the fittings, Jean-Jacques Urcan, who worked on crafting the outfit with Mr. Mugler, was present to assist. Urcan even helped to dress the wearer on the night of the event.
