It’s been close to two months since Lainey Wilson won the Grammy for Best Country Album, and she is still basking in the glow of her victory.

Wilson, who is 31 years old, shares exclusively with us, “Receiving such a positive response from fans and my industry peers is truly a blessing. I have been working towards this for more than ten years, so I am thrilled to use this momentum for my upcoming tour and connect with fans worldwide. While it doesn’t necessarily mean less stress, it is definitely validating.”

Lainey's recent Grammy win marked a triumphant moment in her career. Prior to this, she had also clinched the titles of Entertainer of the Year at the 2023 Country Music Association Awards and Album of the Year at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards for her work on Bell Bottom Country. However, despite her impressive accolades, Lainey expresses that her passion for music goes beyond receiving awards.

In an interview with Us, Lainey shares, "I am extremely grateful and humbled by the success of Bell Bottom Country." She emphasizes that her true joy lies in songwriting, performing, and connecting with her audience. For her, these aspects of music are what truly bring fulfillment and satisfaction.

Lainey shared with Us her excitement about launching her pop-up bar, Hold My Bourbon Bar, in collaboration with Barmen 1873 Bourbon. The bar will be open from April 5-7 at GoodTimes Full Service Bar in Nashville, Tennessee. All proceeds from the pop-up event will be donated to Wilson's charity fund, Heart Like a Truck, which supports various causes aimed at making positive changes in people's lives. (For more information on the event, visit HoldMyBourbonBar.com).

Wilson expressed her love for bourbon, mentioning that it is her go-to drink, especially before a performance, usually served on the rocks. She enjoys how bourbon warms her up from the inside, and her appreciation for it has only increased since discovering Barmen 1873.

At Hold My Bourbon Bar, everything is carefully selected and arranged by Wilson. She pays attention to details, from the drinks to the decorations and even the activities available on-site. Wilson mentioned that there will be bandanas provided for guests to personalize with chain stitching.

Wilson's top pick for the signature cocktail at the pop-up is the Wildflowers Old Fashioned. This drink offers a unique twist on the traditional Old Fashioned by incorporating special ingredients like grapefruit syrup and a garnish of rose petals.

"I've never been a bartender before," she mentioned, "but I'm really looking forward to seeing the cocktails we've created together with Barmen 1873 Bourbon. I worked closely with the Barmen team to develop three unique cocktails for this collaboration, all of which are inspired by my music."

"When I first started writing songs as a kid, I never imagined that people from around the world would connect with my story," she shares with Us. "Boy, was I mistaken about that!?"

Wilson expressed how grateful she felt witnessing the enthusiasm and energy of her Australian fans during her recent shows. She hadn't even left the country yet and she was already looking forward to returning.

When she comes back, she might bring some friends along. Wilson has been a strong advocate for the recent resurgence of country music, leading the charge with her Country’s Cool Again Tour. She was also one of the first supporters of Beyoncé's foray into the genre, Cowboy Carter.

When asked about which country star she thinks will have a breakout year in 2024, Wilson had a few names in mind. She mentioned artists like Anne Wilson, whose record features a new song they wrote together called ‘Praying Woman.’

Wilson handpicked Ian Munsick, Zach Top, and Jackson Dean to join her on the Country’s Cool Again Tour this summer. She sees them as talented acts on the brink of superstardom. Wilson also selected Kameron Marlowe as the opener for her Australian shows, praising his upcoming new music.
