Kristen Stewart shared on The Drew Barrymore Show that the key to her relationship with fiancée Dylan Meyer was being in the right place at the right time. Stewart mentioned how important timing can be to a relationship, agreeing with host Drew Barrymore. She also revealed that she had actually met Meyer years before they started dating.

The Love Lies Bleeding star expressed gratitude for getting the chance to reconnect with someone whom they initially felt unprepared for. They acknowledged their previous self-centeredness and shared excitement about moving forward with this renewed connection.

Stewart and Meyer were rumored to be dating in August 2019, with their first encounter dating back to a movie set in 2013. It wasn't until six years later, at a mutual friend's birthday party, that the couple reconnected, as revealed by Stewart during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in November 2019.

Steward remembered meeting her years ago on a movie set and then not seeing her for about two years. Then, out of the blue, she showed up at a friend's birthday party. Steward was surprised and exclaimed, "Where have you been and how have I not known you?"

Kristen Stewart revealed that she knew Dylan Meyer was special from the moment they met. She confessed that she told Meyer she loved her after only two weeks of dating. Stewart shared that the moment happened late at night in a not-so-great bar when Meyer's friends left them alone. That's when Stewart blurted out, "I'm so in love with you." And just like that, her feelings were out in the open.

Stewart expressed her excitement about proposing to her then-girlfriend, Meyer. In November 2021, during a Howard Stern interview, Stewart disclosed that Meyer had proposed to her.

During the interview, Stewart shared her joy, stating, "We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it." She mentioned that she had wanted to be proposed to and felt Meyer had done an excellent job in fulfilling her wishes. Stewart happily confirmed that they were getting married.

As for the couple's big day, a source told We exclusively in June 2023 that the wedding still didn't have a set date after being postponed initially.

"They originally planned to have the ceremony in L.A. but changed their minds. Then they considered a destination wedding, but had to postpone it due to unforeseen circumstances," the source shared.
