On September 25, 2023, the official Kingdom's Twitter account unveiled the release date for the highly anticipated fifth season of the Warring States saga with a captivating key visual featuring the formidable Kan Ki army, led by the iconic Great General himself.
The first four seasons of the Kingdom TV anime are also available to stream on Crunchyroll, and the subsequent live action films are available on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Kingdom Season 5 plot
Kingdom is a historical series based on the manga by Yasuhisa Hara, which depicts the Warring States period of Ancient China (475 BCE to 221 BCE) and follows the lives of two orphan slave boys, Hyou and Shin. If you're anticipating the fifth season, you probably already know what happened in the previous four, but we'll give you a quick summary anyway.

Kenichi Imaizumi, who is also renowned for his work on Lost Song (2018), will be returning as the director under Studio Pierrot and Studio Signpost.
