Kelsea Ballerini Gives Her Approval to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Kiss — Similar to Hers with Chase Stokes!

Kelsea Ballerini, a close friend of Taylor Swift, expressed her enthusiasm for love in a recent TikTok video. In the video, Ballerini is seen applauding while proclaiming her anticipation for the year 2023, which she refers to as the year of passionately embracing their significant others backstage. The video was posted on Sunday, November 12.

After Swift's concert in Buenos Aires on November 11th, she waved goodbye to fans as she walked offstage. However, her attention was caught by Kelce, who was standing next to a black tent with his hands behind his back. Swift immediately ran towards him and embraced him, pulling him in for a kiss.

During the show, Swift also gave Kelce a subtle shout-out. While singing "Karma," she changed the lyrics from "guy on the screen" to "guy on the Chiefs," referring to his football team. Kelce had been watching the concert from the VIP tent alongside Swift's father, Scott Swift.

Taylor and Kelce have been romantically connected since September. Upon hearing Taylor's altered lyrics, Kelce became overwhelmed with emotion. Videos shared on social media show Kelce holding his head in his hands and blushing in response to the public acknowledgment.

In her caption, Ballerini expressed her genuine excitement for her friend's unabashed public display of affection, humorously attributing it to the year 2023. "Am I right?" she playfully added.

Ballerini had a remarkable year, as she went public with her boyfriend Chase Stokes in January. They continued to show affection towards each other during a performance nearly five months later. During her Heartfirst Tour in June, Ballerini abruptly left the stage in the middle of the interlude of her song "Penthouse," which she wrote about her divorce from Morgan Evans in 2022. She quickly sprinted towards Stokes, who was waiting at the side of the stage. They shared a sweet kiss before she returned to resume her performance. In the song, she added, "I kissed someone new last night," while pointing at the actor from Outer Banks.

Ballerini and Taylor have been long-time friends. They even performed together on stage during Taylor's 1989 tour in 2015. Additionally, Ballerini first met Kelce in February when they both made their debuts on Saturday Night Live. (Kelce hosted the show, while Ballerini was the musical guest).
