Shibuya is in chaos and the absence of the powerful sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu has raised questions about his presence in the finale of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. As the season approaches its end, all the characters are converging in one location. Even Yuki Tsukumo, known for her laziness and tendency to wander overseas, has made an appearance in the latest episode. However, the whereabouts of Yuta Okkotsu remain a mystery.
Yuta Okkotsu, the protagonist of the prequel movie, has only been briefly mentioned in the main story. Following the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, Gojo sent Yuta to Africa to train with Miguel. However, the sorcerers now need his help more than ever.
With Gojo being sealed, Yuki and Yuta are the only two special-grade sorcerers who stand a chance against the villains. Since Yuki has already made her appearance, could this mean that Yuta will make an appearance in the finale of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2? Warning: This article contains spoilers from the manga!
Will Yuta Okkotsu appear in the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 final episode?
Manga Plus
Yuta is set to make an appearance in the Season 2 finale of Jujutsu Kaisen, likely leaving viewers on the edge of their seats with a major cliffhanger. Pseudo-Geto kicks off the Culling Game just before midnight, but Yuta shows up around 1:25 am. His first act is to save a young girl from a curse before meeting with the elders.
The Shibuya Incident arc concludes in chapter 136 of the manga, but Yuta's story continues in chapter 137 during Itadori's Extermination arc. Feeling resentment over his friend Toge Inumaki losing an arm due to Sukuna's rampage, Yuta willingly enters a Binding Vow with the elders.
He then announces his intention to kill Yuji Itadori, leaving anime-only fans guessing whether one of their favorite characters is friend or foe. Yuta's assignment as Yuji’s official executioner comes as a major plot twist, but it's all part of Gojo’s plan. Making a Binding Vow to the elders is just a ruse to prevent them from sending someone else to attack Yuji. In reality, Yuta can exploit a loophole in the Binding Vow by fatally injuring Yuji and using Reverse Cursed Technique to bring him back to life.

Editor's P/S
As a passionate fan of Jujutsu Kaisen, I eagerly await the Season 2 finale and the potential appearance of Yuta Okkotsu. The series has captivated me with its intricate plot, compelling characters, and stunning animation, and I believe Yuta's introduction will add another layer of excitement to the already exhilarating storyline. His arrival could bring a significant shift in the power dynamics and open up new avenues for character development.
The possibility of Yuta facing off against formidable opponents or forming unexpected alliances has me on the edge of my seat. Moreover, the implications of his Binding Vow with the elders and his complex relationship with Yuji Itadori promise to add depth and emotional resonance to the narrative. I trust that the creators of Jujutsu Kaisen will deliver a satisfying conclusion to Season 2, and I can't wait to witness Yuta's impact on the events that unfold in the Shibuya Incident arc.
