Introducing Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, an immersive survival exploration game that takes place in the legendary ancient Dwarven realm. As players embark on their quest to restore the Kingdom to its former glory, they will encounter the remnants of countless brave Dwarves who perished while battling the fearsome Balrog of Morgoth.
Within the ruins of Moria, lies a treasure trove of ancient Dwarven artifacts, lost riches, and the remains of fallen warriors. Among these valuable resources, there are Hero Tokens to be discovered. These collectible items provide a temporary boost to the player's energy levels, making them indispensable for surviving the treacherous mines of Moria.
Where to Find Hero Tokens
Hero Tokens can be obtained by searching the scattered remains of deceased Dwarven allies in various locations within Moria. While exploring, players will come across Dwarven helmets, skulls, and axes among the ruins and debris on the ground, which serve as indicators of nearby Dwarven Remains.
To determine if a fallen ally will yield a Hero Token, players simply need to approach the remains and interact with them. A "Honor" option will appear above the corpse, allowing the player's character to kneel and show respect to the courageous dwarves. After honoring the fallen ally, players will be rewarded with a Hero Token, and the Dwarven Remains will vanish.
In Return to Moria, the locations of the fallen allies will differ for each player due to the game's procedurally generated nature. However, players can uncover more than four Hero Tokens by thoroughly exploring the starting area.
To aid in the search for Dwarven Remains, players are advised to carry a torch as these items may be concealed in dark areas.
How to Use Hero Tokens
After collecting Five Hero Tokens, players can unlock the recipe for The Memorial Flame, a special structure that can be crafted using the Crafting Menu tab. To access the associated buff, players simply need to approach the Memorial Flame statue and press the "E" key at their convenience.
The Memorial Flame grants players The Hero Spirit, a temporary boost to their energy, allowing for extended periods of sprinting, fighting, and mining. This enhancement proves particularly valuable in difficult zones like the lower levels of the Mines of Moria.
