Jonathan Majors was found guilty of domestic assault charges on Monday, December 18, following his delayed trial.

A six-person jury in New York found Majors guilty of third-degree assault and harassment. The verdict was reached after a four-hour deliberation period over three days. He was acquitted of second-degree aggravated harassment and one count of third-degree assault. Majors sentencing is scheduled for February 6. In March, Majors was arrested for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. Despite vehement denial from his representative, he was taken into custody.

A spokesperson for Majors told CNN in a statement, "He has not committed any wrongdoing. We are eager to vindicate his reputation and resolve this matter." Following his arrest, Majors was arraigned and charged with assault and harassment. According to CNN, the accuser alleged that Majors hit her with an open hand, resulting in significant pain and a laceration behind her ear, as well as placing his hand on her neck, resulting in bruising and substantial pain.

A month later, Deadline announced that Majors had parted ways with his talent manager, Entertainment 360, and had made a mutual decision with Valentino not to attend the Met Gala as a guest of the fashion house.

In June, Majors reportedly met with law enforcement after appearing at the Manhattan Criminal Court, according to Insider. The actor filed a domestic violence incident report, claiming that a "drunk and hysterical" woman had harmed him during their March encounter, but did not provide further details. He also alleged that the woman had previously attacked him, accused her of stealing his phone, and spending over $6,000 on his credit card.

Five months after his arrest, Majors was spotted arriving at New York Criminal Court with his girlfriend Meagan Good. The first day of the hearing was postponed after Majors' lawyer, Priya Chaudry, requested more time to prepare for the trial. The trial has now been rescheduled for September 6.
