Jonathan Majors attended his first red carpet event since his domestic assault trial, looking happy and smiling.
At the 2024 NAACP Theatre Awards on Monday, June 3, Majors, 34, was accompanied by his girlfriend Meagan Good. He wore a gray suit, while Good, 42, looked stunning in a pink gown. The couple shared laughs and smiles while posing for photos.
Majors has been seen in public with Good in recent months. However, the NAACP Theatre Awards was the first big event Majors attended after being ordered to undergo one year of domestic violence counseling in April. A permanent protective order was also issued by the judge. This sentencing followed Majors being convicted of third-degree assault and harassment in December 2023.
In May 2023, Majors made his relationship with Good public. She stood by him during his domestic abuse trial.
Majors was taken into custody in March 2023 following allegations from his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari that he had been physically abusive towards her during their relationship. The New York Police Department stated that Jabbari had suffered minor injuries to her head and neck after a domestic altercation.
Majors' representative defended him in a statement to CNN, asserting his innocence and expressing confidence in clearing his name from the accusations. They stated, "He has not committed any wrongdoing. We are eager to prove his innocence and resolve this matter."

After his arrest, the U.S. Army stopped a major advertising campaign featuring Majors. He was also officially fired from Marvel Studios in December 2023, after being found guilty. Majors played Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and his character was supposed to be the next major villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In June 2023, Majors filed a lawsuit against Jabbari, alleging that she caused him to bleed during their reported physical altercation. While Jabbari was arrested in October 2023 for assault and criminal mischief, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office stated that the case lacked prosecutorial merit and was closed and sealed.
Their legal battle continued in March when Jabbari sued Majors for alleged assault, battery, and defamation. According to court documents, Jabbari claimed she was a victim of ongoing domestic abuse that started in 2021 and continued until 2023. In a January ABC News interview before his sentencing, Jabbari accused Majors of making false statements about her.
Majors, on the other hand, stated that he was not responsible for Jabbari's injuries, despite being found guilty. He expressed his wish to understand how the injuries occurred, hoping for clarity and peace.
