Jonathan Majors has received unwavering support from his girlfriend Meagan Good during his legal troubles.
Prior to their relationship, Good went through a divorce from DeVon Franklin after nine years of marriage. Franklin filed the paperwork in late 2021, and the couple officially ended their marriage nearly one year later. Good and Franklin released a joint statement addressing their decision to separate.
After much prayer and consideration, we have made the decision to pursue our futures separately while remaining forever connected. We commemorate nearly a decade of marriage and a love that will endure. No one is to blame, we see this as the next best chapter in the evolution of our love," their statement from December 2021 read. "We are immensely grateful for the transformative years we have spent together as spouses. We are also deeply thankful to God for the testimony being formed within us and for blessing our lives with each other."
As for Majors, he had mostly kept quiet about his personal life until he was arrested in connection to an alleged domestic violence incident. In March 2023, a report from the New York Police Department identified Majors as the aggressor in the altercation.
After spending several hours in police custody, the former Marvel actor was released and has continued to deny the allegations. Majors was arraigned and charged with assault and harassment days after his arrest. Three months later, he filed a countersuit against his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, claiming she caused him pain and made him bleed during the March 2023 incident.
As he prepared for his trial, Majors went public with his romance with Good. The pair were regularly seen together after news of his legal issues broke, and Good remained by his side in the courtroom. In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of assault in the third degree and harassment, but not guilty of aggravated harassment in the second degree by the jury.

Jonathan Majors spoke in a candid interview with ABC, where he expressed his gratitude for Meagan Good's support. He describes her as an angel and compares her support to that of Coretta Scott King. Majors feels incredibly fortunate to have her in his life and believes he has found his perfect match.
(Majors previously reportedly encouraged Jabbari to act like Martin Luther King Jr.’s wife, as heard in audio recorded by his ex that was played during the trial.)
