Joey King Reveals the Behind-the-Scenes Preparation for Her Exquisite and Intimate Wedding Ceremony

Joey King has transitioned from partying to organizing her wedding after enjoying her bachelorette celebration with loved ones in Napa, California. According to an exclusive source in the latest edition of We, she spent the weekend indulging in wine, dancing, and engaging in games with her friends. Feeling incredibly loved, she is now fully immersed in the wedding preparations as the big day approaches.

According to another source, the couple's wedding will not be extravagant or flashy. They want a modest and sophisticated celebration. Joey is thrilled to be a bride and believes that Steven is her perfect match. They consider themselves very fortunate to have found each other.

King, who is 24 years old, shared photos of her bachelorette party on Instagram. Along with the pictures, she humorously captioned, "OHHHHHHHH S——-T‍️." In the images, she can be seen wearing a stylish off-white dress with cut-outs and a veil while enjoying a wine tasting.

The actress and her guests embraced the bachelorette theme by dressing up as their favorite celebrity Steves, such as Steven Tyler, Steve Jobs, and Steve Irwin, in a comical TikTok video. King, who sported a costume matching her fiancé, affectionately expressed her love for all the Steves in the caption posted on Instagram on July 24.

King celebrated her bachelorette party more than a year after her engagement to the producer, who is 32 years old and after dating for over three years since February 2022. One month after the proposal, King publicly announced their engagement on Instagram.

On 2/2/22, you asked me to marry you and made me feel like the luckiest woman alive. My love for you surpasses anything that can be expressed through an Instagram caption. Spending the rest of my life with you feels like a genuine dream, so let's make it happen."

Piet, who crossed paths with King while working on the Hulu miniseries The Act, expressed in his own Instagram post announcing their engagement that King has opened up a whole new realm of love for him.

King's engagement ring, designed by the Brooklyn-based jewelry company Mociun, features an elongated oval diamond set east-west on a gold band with a singular epaulette and baguette stones on one side, according to Olivia Landau, the founder and CEO of The Clear Cut. Landau also disclosed that a similar design could sell for approximately $20,000 to $30,000, depending on the diamond's quality.

Notably, prior to her relationship with Piet, King was romantically involved with her The Kissing Booth co-star, Jacob Elordi. Speculations of a breakup arose after Elordi, aged 26, deleted his social media in November 2018, and the couple seemingly ended their relationship the following year.

Elordi, on the other hand, subsequently embarked on relationships with his Euphoria co-star Zendaya and model Kaia Gerber. In May 2022, it was confirmed by Us that he was officially dating Olivia Jade Giannulli. However, their relationship ended in August.
