Travis Kelce may be romantically linked to Taylor Swift, but according to Joey Fatone, the NFL star is actually a bigger fan of 'NSync. Fatone playfully teased that Kelce had a dilemma when he had to choose between attending the recent 'NSync reunion show or seeing Swift in concert.
“I think [Travis] felt torn because I believe [Taylor] was busy working and he was unsure whether to go see Justin and 'NSync or support Taylor,” Fatone, 47, jokingly shared with Extra during an interview on Wednesday, March 6.
The singer praised Kelce, 34, for attending Justin Timberlake’s One Night Only concert at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on March 13. ‘NSync, including Fatone, Timberlake, 43, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Chris Kirkpatrick, surprised the audience by performing together for the first time in over 10 years.
He jokingly said to Kelce, “You made the right choice, it’s OK. We know you’re gonna see Taylor all the time. Thanks, Travis.”
Fatone then admitted that he was a big fan of the Kansas City athlete, declaring, "I'm a Kelce! I'm a Swiftie too, but I'm a Kelce."
Despite Fatone's admiration for Kelce, he admitted that he had never actually met the tight end before that evening.
"I actually met him through a friend of his that I've known for years. They've been close with Travis and his family for a long time because of their connections to Ohio. It's funny because even though they knew about me, I had never actually met Travis before," he said with a chuckle. "It was a pretty amusing first meeting."

After going to the California show, Kelce thought about the performance while recording an episode of his podcast "New Heights" with his brother, Jason Kelce.
He remembered the evening as enjoyable, saying he had no complaints. Justin Timberlake performed a variety of his old classic songs, which he described as absolute hits. It was exciting for him to hear his favorite songs performed live, along with some new tracks and his latest hit single with 'NSync.
Kelce was talking about 'NSync's newest track "Paradise," which can be found on Timberlake's recently released album Everything I Thought It Was.
Swift, 34, didn't mind that Kelce was in the crowd for the '90s boyband reunion because she's a fan of them herself. At the 2023 VMAs, she even showed her love for the group by accepting a friendship bracelet from Bass while receiving the award for Best Pop Video.
During her acceptance speech, Swift mentioned: "I had your dolls. Like, are you doing something? What’s going to happen now … They’re going to do something and I need to know what it is. You’re pop personified, so to receive this from your golden pop hands is really … it’s too much. Thank you for the friendship bracelets."
