Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo's love story may have unfolded quickly, but their bond is unquestionably unbreakable. It was Jinger's sister, Jessa Duggar, and her husband, Ben Seewald, who initially introduced the couple. Prior to meeting the Duggar family in Arkansas, Jeremy had crossed paths with them in Texas during his soccer career.
In the pair's 2021 memoir, The Hope We Hold, Jinger reflected on the early days of her relationship with Vuolo, acknowledging that she had never experienced such a strong attraction before. However, Vuolo faced a challenge in gaining approval from Jinger's father, Jim Bob Duggar, who required him to complete a detailed 50-page survey before dating his daughter.
"It was a demanding process, but I was genuinely eager to fill it out and show them who I am," Vuolo shared exclusively with us in April 2021. "I can understand why Mr. Duggar would be protective. With so many girls and guys around, I imagine I would also want to have some guidelines in place."

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo's Relationship Timeline: From Courtship to Married With Children
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo's love story may have been a whirlwind — but their connection is undeniably strong.
The couple were introduced by Jinger's sister Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, who had met the former soccer star in Texas before he visited the Duggar family in Arkansas.
In their 2021 memoir, The Hope We Hold, Jinger reflected on the early days of her connection with Vuolo, confessing that she had never experienced such a powerful attraction before. However, Vuolo faced challenges in winning over Jinger's father, Jim Bob Duggar. He was required to complete a 50-page survey before being allowed to date Jim Bob's daughter.
Vuolo expressed his excitement and willingness to complete the document, seeing it as a chance for others to understand him better. In April 2021, Vuolo exclusively told We, "Although it was challenging for Mr. Duggar, having numerous girls and guys around, I sympathize and can understand why he would create such a document if I were in his shoes and had such a large number of girls." Upon receiving Jim Bob's approval, the couple began their courtship and publicly announced their engagement in July 2016. Shortly after, they tied the knot just three months later.

2015
After forming a friendship with Ben, Jinger's brother-in-law, Vuolo traveled to Arkansas to meet the Duggar family. He then accompanied Jinger on a mission trip to Central America. However, before he could start courting his future wife, Vuolo had to gain the approval of Jim Bob.
"It's no easy task for Mr. Duggar," Vuolo shared with Us in May 2021, as he discussed the daunting 50-page questionnaire handed to him by the patriarch, which he described as "intense." "With all these girls and guys around him, I can understand why he felt the need to create such a document."

Felicity Nicole, the first child of the couple, was born on July 19, as exclusively confirmed by us. "Both the mother and the baby are in good health, doing well, and resting comfortably. We are grateful for her safe arrival and excited for our new journey as parents!" Vuolo expressed at that moment.

The duo revealed on social media that Jinger is expecting their second child and playfully mentioned that they will face the challenge of raising two kids. Additionally, they disclosed the heartbreaking news of Jinger's previous miscarriage in their memoir published in May 2021, referring to it as their "greatest trial."

Baby No. 2 made her entrance not long after Jinger shared about her previous miscarriage. The couple chose to call their daughter Evangeline Jo, as Jinger revealed on Instagram, because "Evangeline signifies good news and Jo is a tribute to Jeremy's middle name, Joseph."

In her memoir, Becoming Free Indeed: My Story of Disentangling Faith From Fear, released in early 2023, Jinger provided an in-depth account of her relationship with Vuolo. She revealed that initially, her parents did not approve of their union. The reason was Jeremy's different background and theology, which made her parents hesitate. However, after gaining their blessing, Jinger and Vuolo followed a set of specific guidelines during their courtship. They refrained from going on one-on-one dates, choosing instead to spend time together at either of their family's homes. If they went shopping, dined at a restaurant, or took a walk, they made sure to have a sibling accompany them. Additionally, physical affection such as holding hands was reserved solely for the engagement period, while kissing was saved for marriage. Jinger emphasized that these guidelines were strongly encouraged by her parents.
She admitted that she had initial doubts about marrying Vuolo when they were granted permission to court; however, her perspective changed once they started dating. Jinger reflected, "Marrying him turned out to be one of the most remarkable choices I have ever made."

“Jer entered the picture and my hesitancy stemmed from him being unfamiliar with my world,” the TLC personality explained exclusively to We, discussing her courtship with her current spouse. “Being outside of my culture can be quite a daunting prospect.”
Vuolo’s “confidence” during his proposal brought Jinger comfort and allowed their relationship to progress. “I distinctly remember returning [from a date] and telling my mother, ‘I feel incredibly secure with him. He is everything I've ever desired,’” she reminisced. “He may not have been part of our usual environment, which seems crazy to think about, but he had a deep love for God and was dedicated to living his life according to His teachings. That's when I realized, ‘This guy is truly amazing.’ He's exactly what I've been longing for.”
