Eric Decker, the husband of Jessie James Decker, recently underwent a vasectomy and is now on the path to recovery. Sharing an update on Instagram on Monday, March 25, the 37-year-old expressed relief by saying, "I survived."
After visiting the doctor for a procedure, Eric went back home and put on a T-shirt that said: "Vasectomy survivor I kid you not."
He decided to relax and was seen enjoying a drink with Camesino Rum in hand, while using frozen green peas to alleviate any discomfort in his private area.
Jessie, 35, playfully teased her husband in the comments section with rolling on the floor emojis, while country singer Randy Houser shared a relatable moment by commenting, “Dude. Two weeks ago. Ugggh same t shirt.”
On February 9, Jessie shared the exciting news of welcoming her fourth child, a baby boy named Denver Calloway Decker, with her husband Eric. The couple are proud parents to daughter Vivianne, 10, and sons Eric Jr., 8, and Forrest, 5.
The fourth pregnancy was unexpected for both parents, especially for Eric. During an Instagram Q&A in August 2023, Jessie revealed that Eric didn't initially believe her. He thought she was joking, but she assured him that it was not a prank.

"We were completely caught off guard," she mentioned in another post. "At first, it was a bit of a shock, but once it sank in that it was happening, Eric was thrilled. We both adore children, so we're excited!"
The topic of Eric considering a vasectomy has been floating around in the Decker household for a few years now. Back in January 2022, Jessie revealed that her husband was hesitant to take the required actions to schedule the procedure.
She told us at the time that the idea just freaks him out. She also mentioned that she feels there is a small part of him that hesitates to make a permanent decision because he may want another baby in the future. That's what she believes is going on.
Eric expressed that he was nervous about the whole thing.
He shared with Us that getting a vasectomy feels like losing a bit of power. He emphasized that he values his children greatly and doesn't want to diminish the love he has for them.
The Mayo Clinic states that individuals undergoing a vasectomy may experience bruising, swelling, and pain, but these symptoms typically improve after a few days.
Men are asked to avoid sports, lifting and heavy work for a week or so. As for sex, doctors recommend waiting at least a week after the procedure is complete.
