Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola shared the exciting news of her engagement to boyfriend Justin May. The Jersey Shore star, who is 37 years old, took to Instagram on Monday, April 1, to announce that May, a native of New Jersey, popped the question on March 16.

She shared a series of photos with May, including one where she proudly displays her engagement ring. In the caption, she excitedly announced: "Life update: Fiancé 3.16.24 The easiest question I’ve ever answered… happiest & luckiest girl in the world. I’ll love you forever, and then some #Futurewifey #Engaged."

The reality TV star expressed her joy, saying, "[I] can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you," and reassured her followers that the news was not a prank for April Fools' Day.

Fans and her Jersey Shore castmates were quick to share their well-wishes in the comment section. Jenni “JWoww” Farley wrote, “Congratulations.” Farley’s fiancé, Zack Clayton Carpinello, echoed the comment.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino wrote, “Congratulations!! Love Love.” Angelina Pivarnick commented, “@sammisweetheart congrats mama to you and @j_may36 #wedding,” while Pauly “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio added, “Ayeeeee congrats.”

The company, based in Pennsylvania, celebrated the announcement by posting pictures of the ring on Instagram. They also extended their congratulations to their clients, @sammisweetheart and @j_may36, on their engagement.

May excitedly shared on his page that his best friend said yes to marrying him. He expressed his love for his fiancée and his eagerness to spend the rest of his life with her. Giancola and May started dating a few months after she ended her relationship with Christian Biscardi in 2021.

After two years of dating, the reality star got engaged to Biscardi in 2020. However, they later confirmed their decision to go their separate ways. In July 2021, Giancola announced her single status through a TikTok video. A source revealed exclusively to We that the couple had split amicably.

The insider mentioned that there was no drama surrounding the breakup. Originally planning to marry in 2020, the couple had to reschedule their wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Eventually, they decided to call off the wedding completely.

In November 2021, Giancola hinted that she had found happiness in her personal life by posting a photo with May and captioning it "Thankful." A month later, she shared a cute picture of the couple under a Christmas tree.

After Giancola confirmed her relationship with May, her former costars playfully mentioned that they were still hoping she would make a cameo on the spinoff show.

The television personality introduced May to her followers in a post via X on November 25, 2021.

The MTV personality was previously linked to Ronnie Ortiz-Magro when they met on the set of Jersey Shore in 2009. After they called it quits in 2014, another source told Us that the jewelry designer did not have any plans to appear on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which debuted in 2018.
