Jersey Shore Drama Escalates: Angelina Pivarnick's Shocking Move After Altercation with Fiance Vinny Tortorella

Jersey Shore star, Angelina Pivarnick, reportedly contacted the authorities after a suspected case of domestic violence occurred at her and her fiancé Vinny Tortorella’s residence in New Jersey.

Angelina did indeed contact the police and spoke with them, as confirmed by James Leonard Jr., Pivarnick's attorney. However, she ultimately chose not to press charges. Leonard stated that the situation is now resolved and requests privacy for Angelina regarding her personal life. Meanwhile, Tortorella's lawyer informed Page Six that the couple remains engaged and living together. The lawyer denies any wrongdoing that would justify police intervention and disputes any occurrence of domestic violence.

Pivarnick made her relationship with Tortorella public on a September 2022 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Later on, during a birthday dinner for their co-star Vinny Guadagnino on the spinoff series, Tortorella proposed to Pivarnick.

"I love you so much. Life is unpredictable, but since I met you, I've realized that loving you will always be a certainty in my life," Tortorella expressed to Pivarnick. "If there is an existence beyond this life, I want us to love each other and face everything together. Through the good times and the bad, the small moments and the big ones, I will always support you. I know you will have my back too. I want to grow old with you and share every experience. There is no one else I'd rather have by my side — together, as one."

He got down on one knee and Pivarnick accepted his proposal, which prompted cheers from stars Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, and others.

The engagement occurred the day after Pivarnick celebrated the end of her marriage to ex-husband Chris Larangeira. "If you had told me that I would have my divorce party last night and now I'm officially engaged, I would have told you that you're lying," she joked during the episode. "But here I am, engaged, and preparing for another wedding."

The couple got married in November 2019 and renewed their vows on an episode of Family Vacation in February 2021. However, it was later revealed that Pivarnick filed for divorce from Larangeira in January 2021. In response, Larangeira filed his own legal documents in January 2022, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation. The divorce was finalized in May of the same year.

Earlier this year, Pivarnick disclosed to Us that she and her former spouse have maintained an amicable relationship following their separation. In January, she shared that he had even sent her Christmas presents for her pets, which she found to be a kind gesture. When asked about it, he affirmed that those animals will always hold a special place in his heart.

Acknowledging that their breakup had been difficult, Pivarnick expressed her sincere desire for her ex-husband's happiness. She recognized that divorces are a common occurrence and although unfortunate, it is the reality for many people.
