Angelina Pivarnick recently talked about a controversial direct message she sent to married New York Jets football player Nick Bawden.

During an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Pivarnick, who is 37 years old, shared that she decided to send DMs to some of the Jets players while attending a game. She mentioned that all the players were great in their responses, but she was unaware that one of them, Nick Bawden, was married.

After Pivarnick messaged Bawden with the words "see u soon," his wife, Alexis Bawden, called out the reality star on social media. In a TikTok video in September 2023, Alexis, 27, expressed her thoughts. She mentioned that it was strange for a fan to message a married woman's husband saying they will see him soon, especially after seeing his wife nearby. She referred to the person as a "weirdo."

Alexis’ TikTok video led to Pivarnick accusing Nick’s wife of being "so insecure." In her latest Jersey Shore confessional interview, she called the wife a clown and said, "Whatever the f—k her name is. Her shower curtain means more to me."

Alexis has not made any public statements about Pivarnick’s recent comments. However, on March 21, she seemed to address the ongoing controversy on TikTok. She posted a video of herself getting ready to watch the newest episode of Jersey Shore, complete with wine and popcorn.

On game days, you can usually spot Alexis at NFL stadiums, cheering on her husband and the New York Jets.

In December 2023, she took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the blessings of the past year. After sharing a pregame prayer with her husband on the field, she thanked God for answering prayers, giving them purpose and strength, and always having a plan. They couldn't be more grateful.

The drama around Pivarnick's DM might just be getting started. In a recent midseason trailer for Jersey Shore, MTV caught co-star Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola teaming up with Alexis to film a fun TikTok together.

In the video, the two confirmed that they are on good terms by quoting a well-known line from the show.

According to previews of upcoming episodes, Pivarnick was not a fan of the clip.
