Jeremy Renner is making a comeback and is doing great in Mayor of Kingstown season 3, where he plays Mike McClusky.
In the upcoming episodes, Renner is back on TV after his accident with a snow plow in January 2023. He got hurt pretty badly, with 30 broken bones, when he saved his nephew from being hit by a 14,000-lb. snowplow.
Over one year later, Renner announced his plans to return to the Mayor of Kingstown set. This would mark his first acting role since the accident.
In a recent interview on CNN’s New Year’s Eve special, the Marvel star expressed gratitude for his blessings. Renner mentioned his large family and his 10-year-old daughter, emphasizing the importance of having so much to live for. He acknowledged that passing away would have negatively impacted many lives and stated that he is motivated to keep fighting. Renner views recovery as a one-way journey and continues to put in hard work every day.
Renner also mentioned that he would be going to the set "in a week." When it was time for Mayor of Kingstown to resume production, he posted a photo of himself back in character.
In a post from January 2024, he wrote, "Day one on set. Feeling nervous today. I hope I can really do well for our production and, most importantly, for the fans."
