Jenna Bush Hager Mistakenly Misnamed Her Brother-in-Law at Sister Barbara Bush's Wedding

Jenna Bush Hager recently shared a funny anecdote about her twin sister's wedding, where she accidentally called her brother-in-law Craig Coyne by the wrong name during her toast. Instead of saying "Craig," she mistakenly said "Greg," amusing everyone at the wedding.
"On the December 4th episode of the show, she remembered, 'I don't even know what it was. I'm not sure where it came from because I know him very well.'"
Barbara, aged 42, married Coyne in October 2018 and then again in April 2019. The first intimate family ceremony was held to ensure that former President George H.W. Bush, who passed away at the age of 94 one month later, could attend along with Barbara and Jenna's grandfather.
"I already messed it up once!" Jenna exclaimed about her botched toast. "Half of the people there were thinking, 'Did she just get his name wrong?'"
Jenna mentioned that she was pregnant with her son, Hal, when the incident happened. "I just want to mention, my brain wasn't working at full capacity," she joked. (Jenna has three children, daughters Mila, 10, Poppy, 8, and son Hal, 4, with husband Henry Hager. They got married in 2008.)

Following her admission, cohost Hoda Kotb inquired whether Jenna's brother-in-law had forgiven her, to which she responded, "I believe so."
Despite the incident, Jenna has continued to maintain a close relationship with her sister. Just last month, the two joined their parents, Laura Bush and former President George W. Bush, for dinner to celebrate Laura's 77th birthday and the couple's 46th wedding anniversary.
Jenna disclosed that the reunion marked the first time in 10 years that they had dined together as a group of four. "We sat down for dinner, just the four of us, and it hit us that it's been almost 20 years since we've had a meal with just us four," Jenna shared on a November episode of the show.
Jenna quickly clarified she had exaggerated, and it had actually been more like “a decade.”

“I’ve had a husband for a long time, we’ve had children for 10 years,” she said. “Barbara has had boyfriends and husbands, etc, etc.”
When Kotb, 59, laughed at the comment and asked Jenna what she meant by that, she explained: “[Barbara] had boyfriends, and then she got married, so that’s the etc.”
