Jason Tartick Reflects on Life at 35 After Parting Ways with Kaitlyn Bristowe

Jason Tartick is optimistic about what lies ahead after ending his relationship with Kaitlyn Bristowe. Taking to Instagram on Monday, October 23, the former Bachelorette star shared a hopeful message: "Dear 35, may you surpass the achievements of the previous year. With love, me."

Tartick marked his birthday in Barcelona, Spain on Tuesday, October 24.

"I feel like I have two birthdays. Currently, it's 10/24 — 1:11 AM in Barcelona," Tartick shared on his Instagram Story. "Tomorrow, when I arrive, it'll be 10/24 — 4:30 PM in Nashville."

Recalling his journey, the host of the "Trading Secrets" podcast described Barcelona as an exceptionally unique destination. Within the city, he discovered a serene atmosphere, with individuals exuding a sense of contentment. Families appeared genuinely joyful, and the cacophony of honking horns and blaring sirens was noticeably absent. Moreover, the locals exhibited a remarkable amount of affection, with couples strolling hand in hand and friends walking side by side, arms linked.

Less than three months after Tartick and Bristowe, 38, announced their split in August, Tartick made a comment about couples. The former couple had previously shared a joint Instagram statement stating that they had taken the time to process their decision and were saddened to end their engagement. They expressed gratitude for the support of their loved ones as they navigate through the emotions and changes that come with this life-altering decision.

They announced plans to continue taking care of their dogs, Ramen and Pinot together.

Tartick and Bristowe emphasized the significance of maintaining their friendship as they announced the end of their engagement. The statement expressed gratitude, love, and respect for each other, while acknowledging the sadness of parting ways. However, they assured that their care and admiration for one another will endure.

Tartick documented the emotional moment when he left the home he shared with Bristowe after their breakup, expressing how difficult it was both physically and mentally in a social media post on August 23.

Initially, Bristowe indicated that their split was amicable. However, she expressed displeasure over Tartick's Instagram video, stating that it did not protect her from online hate as he seemed to embrace the sadness. She made these comments on a September 19 episode of her podcast, "Off the Vine."

She stated that the content fragment did not provide her with protection as it created the impression that she was taking the dogs from him. After discussing the video with Tartick, Bristowe confirmed on September 22 that she has unfollowed him on Instagram.

Contrarily, Tartick has clarified that he and Bristowe are currently in the process of resolving their separation.

“I hope both Kaitlyn and I are fine,” he told E! News late last month. “She’s an awesome person. I will always have a special place in my heart for her.”
