Padalecki compared the feeling of "home" to his relationship with the show's fans.

"Our gratitude and love for the entire #WalkerFamily will live forever. It has been a unique honor to be a part of the cast and crew (and fandom!) that helped #Walker tell the stories that we told," his statement concluded. "I will forever smile on the years I got to spend with the cast and crew and studio and network and fandom that made this all possible. Til we ride again."

Walker was a TV series that aired for four seasons. It focused on Cordell Walker, played by Jared Padalecki, who returned home after a two-year undercover mission. The mission was to investigate the death of his wife, Emily Walker, portrayed by Padalecki's real-life wife, Genevieve Padalecki.

Padalecki recently shared his thoughts on the wide-ranging appeal of the show Walker ahead of its season 4 premiere. He expressed his pride in the show's ability to attract a diverse audience.

In an interview with Collider last month, Padalecki reminisced about watching the original Walker, Texas Ranger series starring Chuck Norris as a child. After spending 15 years on Supernatural, a series focused on family dynamics, Padalecki felt drawn to a project that could be enjoyed by viewers of all ages. He explained that his love for action-packed movies, shows, books, and stories led him to seek a new challenge in creating a show with broad appeal.
