Dean McDermott is currently going through a divorce with Tori Spelling. At the same time, he is also dealing with relationship issues with his oldest son, Jack McDermott.

During an exclusive interview at the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center West Hollywood grand opening on Thursday, April 25, Jack, who is 25 years old, shared that he and Dean are in a good place. When asked about the possibility of reconciliation with his 57-year-old father, Jack mentioned that it is not something he is prioritizing at the moment.

Jack joined his mother, Mary Jo Eustace, at the event. Mary Jo was married to Dean from 1993 to 2006. Dean married Spelling in the same year and they have five children together: Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau.

Jack recently spoke out about his family, defending Dean and Tori against negative comments made by his mother, Eustace. In a now-deleted Instagram post from December 2022, Jack asked for respect for his blended family and to avoid any unnecessary tension. He expressed that the past few years have been filled with peace and happiness, and he hopes to maintain that positive dynamic.

Dean and Tori announced their separation in June 2023 after being married for 17 years. Initially, it was reported that they were not planning to divorce. However, Spelling ultimately filed for divorce on March 29, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their decision to part ways.

Prior to the divorce filing, Dean opened up about his struggles with alcohol, which significantly contributed to the breakdown of his marriage with Spelling. Although he has since become sober, a source revealed in December 2023 that Dean has not yet had the opportunity to see his children following the breakup with Spelling.

Jack shared his well wishes for his five half-siblings, saying, "All I have to say is I wish the kids well." He expressed his hope that Tori will be the best mother she can be, as he knows she will likely be taking on most of the parenting responsibilities now. Reflecting on Dean and Spelling's divorce, Jack mentioned that he was not surprised by the news. He explained that he had lived with them for a year while he was in the process of moving from San Francisco to Los Angeles, adding, "I was in San Francisco for five years and then I moved to L.A. So, while I was looking for houses, I lived with them for a few months."

Dean and Spelling have both found new romantic partners - Lily Calo and Ryan Cramer. Eustace mentioned that neither she nor Jack have met Lily, saying, “I didn’t even know that. So, we don’t play in those waters.”

Jack, for his part, added, “If she makes him happy, that’s really all that matters.” Us has reached out to Dean for comment.

Jack and Eustace are currently focusing on self-care by visiting the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center. This medical spa offers various cosmetic treatments such as anti-aging and CoolSculpting.

Eustace believes that everyone should have the freedom to do what makes them feel good, without fear of judgment. She acknowledges that some women openly discuss their treatments, while others prefer to keep it private. Regardless, Eustace emphasizes that as long as a person feels healthy and happy on the inside, it's perfectly fine to explore different options for self-care.
