The Joker: Folie à Deux trailer gave viewers a glimpse of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. However, Real Housewives fans were initially more intrigued by the idea of Sonja Morgan's townhouse making an appearance.

On Wednesday, April 10, a viral tweet suggested that Morgan's iconic townhouse was featured in the teaser, which was released the day before. "@aidanthereup tweeted, 'Sonja's townhouse making a random appearance in the Joker trailer?'"

Fans who were excited about a DC/Bravo crossover were disappointed to find out that the post was just a joke. However, this didn't stop 60-year-old Morgan from sharing it as promotion for her Sonja in Your City tour. Whether she is aware that the townhouse is not actually in the trailer remains unknown.

"Like #NYC, Sonja Morgan never goes out of style," the former Real Housewives of New York City star posted on Wednesday. "See you soon NYC. THIS Friday, April 12."

Morgan's townhouse, situated on the Upper East Side of NYC, was a key location in her 10 seasons on RHONY. Over the past ten years, she has put it up for sale multiple times. In early 2023, the 4,650-square-foot home was listed for $7.5 million.

The townhouse features five bedrooms and six bathrooms, along with a sauna, wet bar, gym, and elevator. Each bathroom and the dining room have wood-burning fireplaces.

Morgan shared during BravoCon in November 2023 that she had recently rented the house.

Morgan shared during a panel discussion for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy that she takes her house off the market when it's rented. She mentioned feeling broke after a wonderful family recently vacated her property, making her feel homeless. Dorinda Medley advised her to auction it off and move on.

On the other hand, Kelly Killoren Bensimon made a playful comment about selling the house herself. She confidently stated, "No auctioning: I will sell that house." Bensimon, aged 55, expressed her determination in a light-hearted manner.

In 2018, Morgan rented the house for $32,000 a month. Her costar and friend Luann de Lesseps stayed with her temporarily during season 8 of RHONY while looking for an apartment.

Morgan shared with People in 2016, "Living with the countess was quite an adventure. We had fun raiding the wine cellar, stumbling up and down the stairs. I let her stay in my daughter's suite on the fourth floor, where there were stuffed animals and a terrarium."

Editor's P/S:

The article highlights a humorous misunderstanding that sparked excitement among fans of both "The Joker" movie and the reality TV series "Real Housewives of New York City." The initial suggestion that Sonja Morgan's iconic townhouse appeared in the "Joker: Folie à Deux" trailer led to a brief moment of crossover enthusiasm. However, Morgan herself later clarified that it was a joke, using the buzz for her own promotional purposes.

Morgan's townhouse has been a prominent fixture in her life both on and off the show. Over the years, she has attempted to sell it several times but has also rented it out for substantial sums. Her current rental status and her recent experience of feeling "homeless" after the departure of her tenants provide an interesting glimpse into the challenges of real estate ownership and the emotional attachments we have to our homes.
