Is Boruto the Chosen One? Analyzing the Two Blue Vortex theory

Unravel the mystery surrounding Boruto, the potential Child of Prophecy, and delve into the intriguing connection between Koji and the revered Great Toad Sage Prepare for an enthralling journey into the realms of destiny and legacy in Hidden Leaf village

With Boruto now in the position of being detested and Kawaki playing the role of the hero in the memories of almost everyone in the Hidden Leaf village, it looks like Boruto will face an uphill battle similar to the one his father faced in Naruto. However, not everyone has turned against him.

Sarada Uchicha and her father Sasuke believe in Boruto's innocence and are the ones who initially provide support. But there is also a surprising ally - the Jiraiya clone, Koji Kashin, an agent of the villainous group Kara, who has come to help Boruto.

Why might he have come to Boruto’s aid? One fan theory might have the answer - and it’s that, like Naruto, Boruto too is a Child of Prophecy.

Boruto, possible Child of Prophecy, and Koji’s connection to the Great Toad Sage

According to the original Naruto, the Child of Prophecy was predicted to be one of Jiraiya’s students who would bring about a significant revolution in the ninja world.

The initial belief was that Nagato was the Child of Prophecy, but Jiraiya later realized that it was actually Naruto who had the dedication to bring peace. This revelation came from the Great Toad Sage, the oldest toad of Mount Myokubo, known for accurate but occasionally vague prophecies.

Despite Jiraiya passing away before Boruto's birth, his legacy continues through Koji Kanshin, a clone of the Great Sage. According to the theory, Koji was informed by the Great Toad Sage that Boruto is a new Child of Prophecy, destined to bring about a revolution in the ninja world. As a clone of Jiraiya, Koji is once again tasked with mentoring a student who will significantly impact the world, and that student is Boruto.

There is substantial evidence supporting this theory. Much of it centers around Koji and Jiraiya’s connection, while some also comes from Naruto's son, who is aware of the ‘worst possible future' - likely one where he continues down a path of being hated. While this theory has yet to be confirmed, it may not be long before Koji’s reasons for assisting the young shinobi become evident.

The Child of Prophecy and rehashing Naruto

Another question emerges from this theory - would it be beneficial for the storyline to head in this direction? After all, Naruto is already a Child of Prophecy.

If his son also turned out to be a Child of Prophecy, it could potentially frustrate some readers, as he would essentially be another character with the same predetermined fate as his father. It wouldn't make for an engaging storyline.

Alternatively, some fans may appreciate the reveal as a homage to Naruto and a way to draw parallels between the father and son in Boruto Two Blue Vortex. The return of the Great Toad Sage and the Child of Prophecy legend also add an intriguing element to the plot. Perhaps the story's resolution will be unique enough to win over fans in the end.

The reasons for Koji teaming up with the young shinobi are likely connected to his status as Jiraiya's clone and the possibility of being the Child of Prophecy. While this is currently just a theory, anything can change with the surprising twists of Two Blue Vortex. Koji's true intentions will become clear in time, whether it be his pursuit of the Child of Prophecy or for other motives.

Editor's P/S

As an enthusiastic fan of the Naruto series, I am intrigued by the theory that Boruto is the new Child of Prophecy, just like his father Naruto. This theory suggests that Boruto is destined to bring about a significant revolution in the ninja world, just like Naruto did.

I find this theory exciting because it adds an extra layer of depth and complexity to Boruto's character and his role in the story. It also suggests that Boruto's journey will be similar to Naruto's in some ways, but also different in others. I am eager to see how this theory plays out in the future of the series.
