During the filming of season 5 of Below Deck Mediterranean, Ferrier candidly shared insights into her relationship with Roberts, expressing, "Out of all my relationships, this is the first one where I truly see a future, the possibility of marriage, and starting a family."

Later in the same season, Captain Sandy dismissed Ferrier from her position. On the evening of the season 5 premiere, she shared the news of her pregnancy, and later in the year, she and Roberts joyfully welcomed their daughter.

Just a month after becoming parents, Roberts proposed to Ferrier. They sealed their love with marriage vows in March 2022, and little Ava happily took part in their wedding ceremony.

Prior to their significant day, Ferrier confessed that she is not in a hurry to have more children. "Josh has considered baby number two, but I am still uncertain," she exclusively revealed to We in May 2021. "I believe I still suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from a difficult labor experience. Therefore, I am unsure."

Despite her indecision regarding expanding her family, Ferrier has been capturing her escapades with Roberts and their young daughter.
