However, apart from a few rumors, plot leaks, and Easter Egg clues in related media, such as the free Marvel’s Spider-Man tie-in comic and the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie, there has been little to go on.
The drought finally ended during the recent PlayStation Showcase livestream, which culminated in a brand-new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 story and gameplay trailer. The segment was exhilarating, finally confirming that Peter Parker will wear his iconic black Symbiote costume, accompanied by a more aggressive, tendril-based fighting style and a darker demeanor to match.
