Michael Allio seemed elusive when questioned about his current relationship status with Danielle Maltby, whom he began dating on season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise. During an interview on the "She's All Bach" podcast, it became evident that Paradise might no longer be within their grasp.
Public relationships are not enjoyable," Allio commented on August 3. "Danielle and I mutually believe that only the two of us should be involved in our relationship. Therefore, we believe that maintaining privacy is the best way to have a healthy relationship." Allio further expressed that both he and Maltby deeply love each other.
"But we prefer to keep our personal lives private. We believe that involving others in our relationship invites opinions and disrupts the harmony of a healthy partnership, so this is a decision we have made," he stated.
Recently, Bachelor Nation has been curious about the couple's current status, as they have reduced the frequency of posting pictures together on Instagram. Maltby, in particular, last expressed her admiration for her partner on Father's Day, while Allio shared a photo with the nurse a few days ago. Prior to their recent decrease in social media activity, the couple regularly documented their relationship.

Earlier this year, Maltby relocated to Ohio to join Allio and his son, James, from his previous marriage to the late Laura.
"She's moving to Cleveland!" he excitingly announced to his Instagram followers in January during a Q&A session. "She has found an amazing place and landed a fantastic job. Everything is looking very promising. This year is going to be incredible!"
Allio and Maltby's love story was broadcast in the autumn of 2022. Following the finale, the couple confirmed that they were still in a relationship and Allio had met Maltby's son.
"I introduced James and Danielle as 'Daddy's friend,' and he completely understood that concept. I am very cautious about protecting him and ensuring that he does not form attachments too early," Allio explained to We in November 2022. "When we initially introduced them, we had only been dating for about five or six weeks, which is much faster than my usual timeline. However, I am pleased with my decision. I immediately saw their connection, and it is truly a beautiful thing."
Maltby expressed her admiration for his parenting skills, emphasizing that witnessing him as a father has been an even greater source of joy. She went on to say that every child deserves a father like Michael and that she has never encountered anything comparable in her own life.
