The upcoming season of Sister Wives promises new episodes that are filled with anger, according to Janelle Brown. The series gives viewers a glimpse into the challenges faced by Kody Brown and his exes - Christine Brown, Meri Brown, and Janelle, who are all trying to navigate their relationships after their separation. In a recently released teaser, Kody, 54, expresses his confusion about his strained relationship with Janelle and the absence of Christine. He also admits to being unsure about how to handle his relationship with Meri.
One year after their separation in November 2021, Kody and Christine, aged 51, Meri and Janelle both disclosed in the final episode of season 17 that their relationships with Kody had come to an end.
In the new trailer, Janelle expresses doubts about Kody's commitment to maintaining a "plural family" with her. On the other hand, Meri, aged 52, appears uncertain about her own breakup. Meri tells her ex, "I hope you don't think I'm giving up because, honestly, I still have hope."
Meri later reveals to Robyn Brown, Kody's only remaining wife, that she firmly believes her marriage is over. After expressing her decision to Kody and Robyn, 44, that she will no longer be present, Robyn becomes emotional.
Robyn expresses her desire to enjoy a peaceful future, sitting on a porch alongside her sister wives, with their children and grandchildren.
Christine, on the other hand, appears to be relishing her solitary existence. "If you cannot reflect on our past relationship with a touch of humor, it would be such a shame," she expresses to Kody, while they sit together at a restaurant.

Kody disagrees with his ex's perspective, confessing, "I don't find her departure amusing."
The gripping trailer concludes with a tense moment, as Janelle, conveying to Christine that she no longer wishes to be married, angrily curses at Kody as he storms out of her house following a heated argument.
"I put in immense effort to do what was morally correct, and when that integrity is compromised, I feel compelled to embrace the devilish persona that I now believe I possess," Kody admits in a private confession.
Throughout season 17, Kody's initial breakup was extensively examined, and Christine wasted no time in moving on. "I have finally discovered the love of my life, David. The first time he embraced me tightly, it felt as though my soul had taken its very first breath," she shares in an Instagram post on Valentine's Day, unveiling her newfound relationship with David Woolley. "He possesses remarkable qualities and displays immense kindness towards my children, and he is also an endearing grandparent. I never could have imagined finding a love as extraordinary as this."
59-year-old Woolley proposed two months later. Christine expressed, "David treats me exceptionally well and compliments my beauty every day. I have never experienced love like this before, and life feels more vibrant with him by my side. I am thrilled for the amazing journey we are about to begin for the rest of our lives."
Janelle extended her congratulations to her friend and former sister wife on Instagram, responding with a joyful "Hurray!!" to Christine's announcement. Janelle also shared Christine's engagement post on her Instagram Story, adding the word "HAPPY".
