The star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Sutton Stracke, is known for causing drama on screen, but she's not the only one causing trouble. Sutton, 52, has learned a few things since joining the show in 2020. "We all play it up for the camera, so you end up becoming an exaggerated version of yourself," Sutton reveals exclusively to We in the newest segment of "Reality Show Secrets."
Sutton believes that Erika Jayne is the Housewife who really plays up to the cameras the most. The two have clashed before, including when Erika made a comment about Sutton's sex life, to which Sutton responded that Erika doesn't know what she's capable of behind closed doors.
The costars also had a dispute after Erika confronted Sutton following a cast trip to see Magic Mike Live in Las Vegas. While talking to Us at BravoCon in Sin City earlier this month, Erika expressed that she “needed a break” from Sutton “for a couple years.”
Sutton Stracke is keenly aware of the opinions her fellow Housewives hold about her. "If you were to ask my castmates who is the biggest drama starter, they would point the finger at me," she shares with Us. "But I disagree with that and don't think it's fair. I believe we all contribute to the drama equally."
Sutton disagrees with the assumption that the conflict in the show is fueled by alcohol. According to her, there are no limits to what the Housewives can drink on the show and there are no requirements to drink either.
Erika Jayne told Chelsea Guglielmino/Bravo that she sometimes enjoys hot water with lemon and honey, and prefers to sip on one drink throughout the night.
Season 13 of the reality series premiered in October and has already shed light on Kyle Richards’ faltering marriage, Erika’s legal challenges, and the notorious Las Vegas incident. But according to Sutton, not all of the filmed footage makes it to the final edit.

Sutton fondly remembers a party from last season that she wishes had been aired. The event, celebrating her cashmere line, was a beautiful gathering with notable guests like Susan Rockefeller and her daughter. Sadly, none of it made it to the final cut.
