Inside Deacon Phillippe's Luxurious New York City Apartment
Reese Witherspoon's son, Deacon Phillippe, gives us a glimpse of his incredible NYC apartment alongside TikToker Caleb Simpson, showcasing a stylish and luxurious urban living space

Deacon Phillippe's New York City apartment is absolutely amazing. The 20-year-old, who happens to be the son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, recently gave TikToker Caleb Simpson a tour of his stunning residence. Simpson, known for interviewing celebrities like Christie Brinkley about their homes, approached Deacon on the street and asked for a peek inside.
“Location: West Village. Occupation: Student,” read the caption of the Instagram video posted on Tuesday, November 14, tagging Deacon.
The video started with Simpson asking about the price of Deacon's crib, to which he playfully responded, "West Village prices, man." The NYU student then mentioned that he had time to give a tour of his new place in between classes.
Upon entering the apartment, Simpson skillfully maneuvered the camera to capture the expansive layout, encompassing two floors and highlighted by a central spiral staircase. Deacon, in a cautionary manner, reminded Simpson to mind his head due to the staircase's somewhat precarious nature.
Following the introductions with Deacon's two roommates, Simpson proceeded to assess the culinary provisions within their living space. With a discerning eye, he determined that the quantity of food available was surprisingly decent, providing a brief glimpse into their sparsely stocked refrigerator.

Deacon then guided Simpson towards their collection of vinyl records, elegantly displayed on a backdrop of exposed brick. Among the cherished albums, a special spot was reserved for Deacon's beloved plant, lovingly dubbed Darryl.
Simpson proceeded to Deacon’s bedroom, where a keyboard was situated next to his desk. The multi-talented actor and musician clarified that it was his studio setup, mentioning that he sings and dabbles in keyboard playing, but primarily creates music on his computer.
Following Deacon's demonstration, the video concluded with a glimpse of the bathroom. Characteristic of the cramped spaces typically found in New York City, the bathroom featured a door that narrowly cleared the edge of the sink.
Deacon released his first album, A New Earth, in April. His parents and sister Ava Phillippe attended the album release party.
"Fantastic evening with family & friends, celebrating the release of ‘A New Earth’ by @deaconphillippe!!" Ryan, 49, wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
Witherspoon, now 47, was previously married to Ryan from 1999 to 2006, and they became parents to Ava and Ryan in 1999 and 2003 respectively. After their separation, Witherspoon later married and divorced Jim Toth in March. Together, they have a son named Tennessee, 11. Ryan, on the other hand, shares a daughter named Kai with his ex, Alexis Knapp.
Deacon recently made his acting debut in season three of the Netflix show Never Have I Ever, which was created by Mindy Kaling, a close friend of Witherspoon. Kaling, who is now 44, spoke highly of working with Deacon after their collaboration.
In August 2022, she explained that during the season break, they came across a role that appeared to be an ideal fit for Deacon. They acknowledged his undeniable talent and appealing appearance, leading them to believe that he would excel in the role. Moreover, Deacon himself expressed excitement about taking on the opportunity.
