The first glimpse of the $50 million penthouse at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria skyscraper in Miami has been revealed by the developers. This extravagant unit, encompassing a staggering 13,000 square feet, boasts six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Perched atop nine stacked cubes, which create a striking vertical structure, this awe-inspiring property is ideally situated along the waterfront in downtown Miami. Architect Carlos Ott and the esteemed firm Sieger Suarez are working diligently towards its completion in 2027.
Renderings of the penthouses reveal the firm BAMO's exquisite interior design, featuring a contemporary and spacious unit adorned with expansive wraparound windows, enclosed balconies, recessed lighting, and luxurious marble finishes. The exceptional rooms encompass a private gym, spa, library, and theater.

The theme of the interiors was "transcendence," according to the design studio BAMO.
The penthouse at ARX Creative in Miami will truly make a statement amidst the city's expansive skyline. With numerous skyscrapers either under construction or in the planning stages, the Waldorf Astoria Miami aims to be the first to reach the pinnacle of success.
"Despite the magnificent skyscrapers that grace cities like Dubai, Hong Kong, and New York, there are still numerous towers," remarked Ryan Shear, PMG's managing partner and developer of the buildings. Shear further added that with the Waldorf Astoria Miami, "you can truly experience being at the pinnacle of a world-class city."
Enter the opulent realm of Bentley, the exquisite residential tower set to debut in Miami.
Taking into consideration these factors, the team at BAMO collaborated on the concept of "transcendence" while envisioning the interior design of the buildings. The principal designer, Anne Wilkinson, explained that this concept applies to the shared amenities of the 460 residences and 205 hotel rooms and suites.
The Waldorf Astoria brand is renowned for its iconic features, such as a grand clock present in every location. One example is Peacock Alley, a lounge originally found in the historic New York hotel and now replicated in other properties. In the Miami location, these spaces are crafted to inspire a sense of awe. For instance, Peacock Alley is transformed into a "conservatory" in the sky on the 19th and 20th floors, offering panoramic views from three sides.
On those floors, the building features a unique signature clock—a three-story pendulum. According to Wilkinson, this impressive timepiece has never been attempted at any other Waldorf Astoria location. The pendulum gracefully swings down from the 21st floor, passing Peacock Alley, and nearly brushes the ground on the 19th floor, hovering just 3 feet above it.
Miami skyscrapers have been creeping upwards since their maximum allowable height was raised several years ago by the Federal Aviation Administration.

In the penthouse, Wilkinson said their team took inspiration from the exteriors geometric architecture in the palette of surfaces and finishings.
"(Carlos Ott) referred to the building's skin as a reflective surface, where each facet of the cubes mirrors a different portion of the sky," she stated. "I found this concept incredibly captivating, so we incorporated it into the interior design. Many of our color choices consist of ethereal grays and blues, transitioning into dark hues resembling nighttime."
While the original Waldorf Astoria on New York's Fifth Avenue is famous for its elaborate Art Deco style, Wilkinson believes that the sleek design and luxurious penthouse of the Miami version seamlessly complement its prestigious heritage.
"When Waldorf was initially constructed, Art Deco was considered highly innovative," she stated. "Therefore, I perceive Waldorf as being focused on the future. It embodies the current design aesthetic."
