Inside Bridget Moynahan and Andrew Frankel's Enchanting Love Story on Their 8th Wedding Anniversary

Bridget Moynahan has had a fortunate experience in love ever since she tied the knot with Andrew Frankel eight years ago. Her husband's anniversary message is a testament to their happy marriage. The Blue Bloods actress, who is now 52, shared a photo on Instagram on October 19, along with the caption: "Oh.... and marry a man who sends you cards like this on your anniversary. And someone who supports you in inviting new friends to commemorate this special day."

Moynahan posted a picture of the anniversary card her husband gave her. The card said, "To the woman I am incredibly happy to be married to," accompanied by a cheerful drawing of a couple.

In 2015, Moynahan and Frankel got married in a small, intimate wedding in the Hamptons. Moynahan excitedly announced the news on Instagram, sharing a glimpse of their wedding photos.

Moynahan maintains a sense of privacy regarding her marriage, but she is no stranger to being in the spotlight for her relationships. In 2004, she began dating former NFL quarterback Tom Brady, but their relationship came to an end in December 2006 just before Moynahan discovered she was expecting a child.

Reflecting on her experiences, Moynahan shared during a BUILD interview in 2019, "I went through a very public breakup, followed by my pregnancy and the birth of my baby. Unfortunately, those moments were overshadowed by the intrusive presence of paparazzi and tabloids."

Brady had already moved on with his now-ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, while Moynahan gave birth to their son, Jack, in 2007. Moynahan revealed in her 2019 memoir, "Our Shoes, Our Selves," that she chose to become incredibly private following the experiences she went through during her pregnancy.

“It’s unnerving to be followed and stalked like that, especially during such an emotionally vulnerable time,” she wrote at the time.

Despite the challenges they faced, Moynahan consistently provided support to her former partner during his football career. (Brady retired from the NFL in February after his divorce from Bündchen in 2022.)

Moynahan continues to keep her personal life private, including her relationship with Frankel and their blended family. Although they have not had their own children, Frankel has three kids from a previous marriage.

Moynahan, who is known for her guardedness about her marriage, previously disclosed that finding a different approach was pivotal in her thriving partnership with Frankel.

"I had been romantically involved with individuals in the entertainment field. However, I encountered someone who was genuinely grounded, devoid of any pretentiousness or superfluous baggage," Moynahan shared with Glamour in October 2021. "He is an exceptional individual and an excellent companion. In my younger years, I believe I didn't fully grasp the significance of such qualities in actual, everyday circumstances."

Moynahan also discussed her role as a stepmother to Frankel's three adult children in an interview with Glamour. She mentioned that they don't see the children as frequently anymore since they are either away at college or busy with internships. Moynahan also shared that her relationship with Jack, Frankel's son, has changed over time. While he used to visit the set when he was younger and participate in the camera department, he now focuses on his education.
