Inside Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs' Heartwarming Wedding Day Surprise for Son Benson

Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs may have had to postpone their wedding ceremony, but their love for each other remains as strong as ever.

The Bachelor in Paradise alumni, who met during season 7 of the ABC spinoff, got engaged in May 2022. Originally planning to marry this month, their plans changed when they discovered they were expecting their first child. Kufrin gave birth in September.

In a joint Instagram post a few days later, they shared the news of their son's arrival and expressed their overwhelming love and astonishment. They named him Benson Lee Jacobs Kufrin, in honor of both of his grandfathers. This precious gift has forever changed their lives.

Kufrin and Jacobs have been enjoying every precious moment with their baby boy since bringing him home. This past Saturday, the couple relaxed in bed, with Benny peacefully sleeping on Kufrin's chest, while watching Sandra Bullock's film, "The Proposal," and the hilarious new comedy series, "Jury Duty," on Amazon Freevee. In an Instagram Story video, Jacobs expressed his enthusiasm for "Jury Duty," calling it possibly the greatest show ever, as Kufrin couldn't contain her laughter in the background.

Jacobs, who also took Benny on a "hot dad walk" according to a caption on Kufrin's Story, also acknowledged their planned wedding day.

"Today was meant to be our wedding day. However, something even more incredible happened," Jacobs expressed on Instagram on Saturday. "Seeing you as Benny's mother, you are even more stunning in this moment than I could have ever envisioned."

Kufrin was previously engaged to Arie Luyendyk Jr. following his stint on The Bachelor in 2018. However, their engagement was called off and he pursued a relationship with his current wife, Lauren Burnham. Kufrin then became the lead on The Bachelorette and found love with Garrett Yrigoyen. They were engaged for two years before ending their relationship. It was after this that she met Jacobs on Bachelor in Paradise.

In an exclusive interview with We magazine in June 2022, Kufrin revealed that she and Jacobs have discussed their future together, including marriage and starting a family. They share the same views on how they want to raise their children and what values they want to instill in them. This is the first time Kufrin has found someone who is truly aligned with her vision for the future.

She expressed, "He is the first man that I truly see myself spending my entire life with. I am eager to begin arranging the wedding and embark on all the activities that I previously thought were not important to me." At present, Kufrin and Jacobs have yet to disclose a new date for their wedding.
