Xbox Game Pass has officially announced its upcoming lineup of games for October 2023, known as "wave 2". While most of the games have already been revealed, there are two new additions to the list. One of them is the highly acclaimed Dead Space remake, which will be accessible through Xbox Game Pass (via EA Play) starting October 26, just in time for Halloween.
Earlier this year, the Dead Space remake received widespread praise from both fans and critics. Despite significant changes made to the original game, it managed to earn exceptional ratings on aggregate site OpenCritic, with a Top Critic Average of 89 and a recommendation rate of 97% among critics. Now, those who missed out on experiencing it earlier in the year can finally play it by utilizing their Game Pass subscription. It's worth mentioning that the game will be available on the Cloud, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Series X/S.
The recently released Xbox Game Pass title, F1 Manager 2023, joins Dead Space as another exciting addition. In fact, F1 Manager 2023 came out even more recently than Dead Space. This unique sports management and racing game launched in August and features all 23 tracks of the current season. While it may differ in many ways, its inclusion so soon after Forza Motorsport's debut on Xbox Game Pass is quite intriguing.

Concluding October on a strong note, Dead Space takes the spotlight as the headlining title. Its close proximity to Halloween adds an intentional touch, making it the perfect culmination. However, Xbox Game Pass is not one to rest on its achievements, as November brings even more excitement. PlateUp!, Thirsty Suitors, Football Manager 2024, Dungeons 4, Like a Dragon Gaiden, and Persona 5 Tactica are all set to join Xbox Game Pass in November, with the possibility of more additions yet to be confirmed.
Of course, in order to make room for new arrivals, some games will be departing Xbox Game Pass on October 31. Bid farewell to Gunfire Reborn, Kill It with Fire, Persona 5 Royal, Signalis, and Solasta Crown of the Magister.
