Hilarie Burton Morgan and her husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan were matching in black during a date night at the AMC Networks upfront in NYC on Wednesday, April 10.
Hilarie, aged 41, wore a gorgeous leather bodycon dress to the event. The dress featured a low cut sweetheart neckline and long sleeves. She paired the outfit with stylish strappy black heels and gold accessories, including a necklace with a crescent moon pendant.
Jeffery, who is 57 years old, matched his outfit with his spouse by wearing an all-black suit, black button-down shirt, and coordinating black dress shoes.
The couple, who first met in 2009 and quietly got married in a small ceremony in 2019, prefer to keep their personal lives private and usually avoid attending red carpet events. However, they made an exception to show their support for the TV network that is currently airing their projects.
Jeffrey has been associated with AMC since 2016, when he began working on the popular post-apocalyptic series The Walking Dead, which concluded in 2022. Following this, he continued his role in the spinoff series The Walking Dead: Dead City in 2023.
On the other hand, Hilarie has been hosting True Crime: It Couldn’t Happen Here since 2021. This docuseries focuses on bringing attention to small town murders that often do not receive media coverage.
Hilary hinted to fans that she would attend the event by sharing a photo on Instagram Stories. The photo showed her with her glam squad getting her hair and makeup done. In the picture, her wavy silver and blonde locks were on full display. She has talked openly about being inspired by her husband's silver hair.
In an interview with New Beauty last October, Hilary shared, "I saw my husband embrace his Silver-Fox status and receive nothing but love from fans and the media. His silver hair made him more appealing and respectable. I wanted that for myself."
She then made the decision to embrace the gray hair that she noticed was growing in on herself.
She explained, "As my silver hair grew in, I started to like how I looked - maybe for the first time. I appreciated the way it complemented my eyes and skin tone. I enjoyed connecting with other women who were also embracing their natural hair color, instead of using dye. I felt a sense of freedom. While I respect people who choose to hold onto a more youthful appearance, my idea of beauty lies in embracing the power of this new phase of life, beyond youth."
