In order to understand Hidari’s relationship with Sasuke Uchiha in the manga series, we need to examine chapter 5 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex. This chapter presented a flashback to when Boruto and Sasuke had left the village after Eida’s incident. During this time, Sasuke taught Boruto all the techniques and fighting styles of the Uchiha clan, leading to Boruto surpassing even Sasuke. Together, they found themselves in a battle against Code and the Ten Tail clones.
Sasuke made the decision to sacrifice himself in order to save Boruto, giving him the opportunity to train even harder and become unbeatable. He was later discovered sealed within a tree, a result of being trapped by a clone of the Ten Tail. Moegi suffered the same fate, also being sealed by the Ten Tail clone. The clone eventually regained consciousness, taking on the appearance of Moegi, the person it had sealed.

After Sasuke was sealed, another Ten Tail clone named Hidari became conscious, as depicted in the manga chapters. This confirms that Hidari is indeed Sasuke’s clone in the Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga series.
In chapter 4 of the manga, Hidari demonstrated his ability to replicate Sasuke’s Chidori technique and manipulate his flesh into a weapon, transforming his arm into a massive blade.
From this brief encounter in chapter 4 of the manga series, it can be inferred that Hidari is the most powerful among the four Divine Trees. In chapter 5, these beings revealed their chosen targets. Although they claim to select their targets based on instinct, a clear pattern emerges. The targets selected by the Divine Trees are individuals who have a very close connection to those who are sealed.

Moegi’s clone singled out Konohamaru due to their strong connection. Bug’s clone targeted Eida, and Jura went after Naruto. Jura’s choice implies he is Gaara’s clone, though this is unconfirmed.
Hidari has also chosen a target: Sarada Uchiha, daughter of Sasuke in the anime and manga series. The outcome of Hidari’s attempt on Sarada’s life and Boruto’s efforts to free his friends from the Divine Tree seal will be intriguing to see.
