World of Warcraft Classic fans can mark their calendars for the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Call of the Crusade patch. This beloved patch, which features a brand-new dungeon, raid, and series of daily quests, will soon be available for players to enjoy. Originally introduced during the Wrath of the Lich King era, Call of the Crusade invited players to don their tabards and lances as they fought to defend Azeroth against the Lich King's forces. Get ready to revisit this exciting time in World of Warcraft history!
Now, players can look forward to the highly-anticipated Call of the Crusade update coming to Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Beginning on June 20, players can venture into the Trial of the Champion dungeon and complete Argent Tournament dailies to earn valuable rewards. Additionally, players can challenge themselves with the new Defense Protocol Beta, a type of Titan Rune Dungeon that rewards gear from the Ulduar raid in World of Warcraft. Excitement builds as June 22 marks the opening of the Trial of the Crusader and Grand Crusader raids in both their 10- and 25-man versions, as well as the level 80 version of Onyxia’s Lair.
But wait, there's more! World of Warcraft is bringing back the highly sought-after Joyous Journeys experience buff to Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Starting on May 23, players can earn experience 50% faster in World of Warcraft Classic. This makes it significantly easier to catch up characters to the current content and enjoy the game even more. The experience boost will last for the entire month, likely ending once the Call of the Crusade patch goes live.
The Trial of the Crusader remains a beloved instance in World of Warcraft due to its distinctive structure, mechanics, and encounters. Although it may not hold up against other Wrath of the Lich King battles like Icecrown Citadel or Ulduar, players still eagerly anticipate the challenge it presents. Moreover, the impending release of Fall of the Lich King only adds to the excitement surrounding Call of the Crusade.
In addition to the upcoming content for Call of the Crusade, World of Warcraft Classic has announced the introduction of Hardcore realms and another Classic Era season. Meanwhile, Blizzard is currently developing Patch 10.1.5 for Retail WoW, which will include a time-bending mega-dungeon along with other thrilling features. With all of these updates and additions, World of Warcraft players will have plenty of engaging content to explore, regardless of their preferred era.
World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
