Blass, along with a team of renowned Star Trek creatives, including Mike and Denise Okuda, John Eaves, Doug Drexler, and Liz Kloczkowski, was responsible for designing the show's starships, weapons, and props. Their work included constructing the hero ship of Picard season 3, the USS Titan-A, which later became known as the USS Enterprise-G in the series finale, setting the stage for Terry Matalas' proposed spinoff, Star Trek: Legacy. During an interview with Screen Rant, Blass was asked about potential plans to improve the USS Enterprise-G should Star Trek: Legacy receive the green light from Paramount+ following the tentative end of the WGA writer's strike.

Since we worked on season 2 and season 3 consecutively, there wasn't much opportunity to make any modifications to the transition from the Stargazer to the Titan... Star Trek: Picard Season 3 & Legacy's USS Enterprise-G Explained

Star Trek: Picard season 3 concluded by setting the stage for Star Trek: Legacy. Jeri Ryan's character, Seven of Nine, was elevated to the role of Captain aboard the USS Enterprise-G, formerly known as the USS Titan-A. The USS Titan, previously a Constitution III Class starship, underwent a renaming ceremony to become the new Enterprise in recognition of its pivotal role in defending the galaxy against the Borg during Frontier Day. In true Star Trek fashion, the production team ingeniously repurposed the bridge set of the USS Stargazer, originally constructed by Dave Blass and his team for Star Trek: Picard season 2, for the Titan's bridge.

Star Trek: Legacy will follow the journeys of the USS Enterprise-G during the early 25th century. Captain Seven of Nine will command the new Enterprise, accompanied by her First Officer, Commander Raffi Musiker (played by Michelle Hurd), and Special Counselor to the Captain, Ensign Jack Crusher (played by Ed Speleers). It is uncertain whether or not the USS Enterprise-D, recreated by Dave Blass and Liz Kloczkowski's team for the final episodes of Star Trek: Picard season 3, will make an appearance in Legacy. However, it is thrilling to learn that the USS Enterprise-G will receive new enhancements if Star Trek: Legacy comes to fruition.
