Annapurna Interactive's annual summer showcase has confirmed that six indie titles will soon be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. In recent years, Annapurna has held showcases to highlight the new games being developed by their partners.

Xbox Game Pass continues to offer the best gaming deal, providing a wide variety of titles, both big and small, to subscribers for a monthly fee. In addition to Xbox's own highly anticipated games like Hi-Fi Rush, Starfield, and Forza Motorsport, Game Pass subscribers have also enjoyed third-party games like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and the upcoming Bloodborne-inspired Soulslike Lies of P. Thanks to Annapurna Interactive, Game Pass subscribers can now look forward to a new collection of unique indie games coming soon.

Annapurna Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass:

Annapurna made a series of exciting announcements at its recent summer showcase, revealing that six games will be available on Xbox Game Pass on their release day and beyond. These games include Cocoon, Thirsty Suitors, Bounty Star, Ghostbike, Flock, and To A T. Cocoon, one of the titles, is an indie puzzle game created by the talented minds behind Limbo and Inside. In Cocoon, players can explore various worlds in the form of small orbs, which can be manipulated to solve intricate puzzles. Thirsty Suitors, another game showcased, is a turn-based RPG adventure where protagonist Jala battles her exes.

Bounty Star, a third-person mech combat action game showcased on Game Pass, shares similarities with FromSoftware's Armored Core franchise. This choice of genre may seem unexpected for Annapurna, known for their narrative-focused and less intense games. However, including it in Annapurna's lineup suggests that Bounty Star holds the potential for engaging storytelling and captivating farming mechanics.

Annapurna's showcase featured the popular title Stray, a futuristic cat-venture game that received a positive reception upon its release last year on PC and PlayStation. It even garnered a nomination for Game of the Year at The Game Awards. Fans will be delighted to know that Stray is finally making its way to Xbox, although surprisingly not on Game Pass. However, it is possible that plans to join the service will be announced closer to its August 10 release date.
