Karamo Brown, much like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, understands the irreplaceable comfort of home – and for him, that home is the stage of his own talk show.
"The exhilaration I experience while filming my show has been absolutely incredible," reveals Brown, 42, exclusively in the latest edition of We. "It truly feels like returning to where I belong."
Starting in November 2022, the Queer Eye star introduced his Karamo talk show, offering valuable assistance to a diverse range of viewers facing personal challenges. Brown has lent his support to individuals grappling with addiction, intricate family dynamics, enigmatic DNA revelations, and other issues.
Lovingly connecting with the audience is of utmost importance to Brown as he shared, "[The audience] is essential to the show, and I thoroughly enjoy engaging with them. Witnessing their reactions and listening to their passionate discussions about the episodes afterwards reminds me that our show is impactful and purposeful."
Season 2 premiered late last month following a summer hiatus.

Karamo Brown, just like The Wizard of Oz’s Dorothy, knows that there’s no place like home — and his home is the set of his eponymous talk show.
Brown, 42, enthusiastically expresses his exhilaration when discussing the thrill he experiences while recording his show, in an exclusive interview with We magazine. He describes this sensation as akin to returning to a familiar and comforting place. Since its launch in November 2022, Brown's talk show, Karamo, has aided numerous viewers in overcoming personal challenges such as addiction, family conflicts, and enigmatic genetic revelations.
"The audience is the heartbeat of the show, and I relish connecting with them," expresses Brown to Us. "Witnessing their reactions and engaging in passionate discussions about the episodes afterward reassures us that we are creating a show filled with significance and intent."
Late last month, Season 2 made its debut after a summer break.

Brown's makeup artist, Senoj Byrd, and wardrobe stylist, Miyah Marie, do an incredible job of getting him camera-ready. He can't help but gush about how they perfectly understand his vision and style. Their selections always manage to make him look and feel absolutely fly.

Brown and his team gather in prayer, seeking a collective grounding before the commencement of the show. As a former member of the Real World, Brown expresses the significance of this moment as an opportunity for unity and refocusing.
