Bayern Munich has yet to receive a response from Tottenham regarding their 'final offer' for Harry Kane. The German champions were hoping for a prompt reply, as they may consider pursuing alternative targets if the wait drags on.
According to Sky in Germany, Bayern has put forward an offer exceeding €100m euros (£86.24m), including add-ons, for the 30-year-old England captain. Although Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is currently in the USA, it is not believed to be related to any potential transfer.
Kane is anticipated to participate in Tottenham's friendly against Shakhtar Donetsk at home on Sunday. He is keen on having his future settled prior to Tottenham's first Premier League match of the upcoming season against Brentford, which will be broadcast exclusively live on We on Sunday, August 13th.

Previously, we reported that there was a valuation gap of at least £20m. Bayern is confident that they have addressed this issue and perceives their proposal as both fair and final.
With Kane's contract expiring next summer, Spurs face the risk of retaining him beyond the current transfer window and potentially losing a top-tier goalscorer to a Premier League competitor without receiving any transfer fee.
He is unwilling to sign a new contract with Tottenham this summer and his preference is to join Bayern over other interested clubs, including French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

If Spurs accept the offer, We News believes the transfer might be completed swiftly.
Kane has the potential to earn approximately £11m net per year with a five-year contract. This amount will be divided into his basic salary, the number of games he plays, and bonuses.
Tottenham's leading goal-scorer is also open to the possibility of making a comeback to the Premier League at some point in the future. Despite a subpar season for Spurs, in which they finished eighth and failed to secure European football, Kane managed to net an impressive 30 goals in the Premier League. It is worth noting that Tottenham has not won a trophy since 2008.
According to Sky in Italy, Tottenham is rumored to have an interest in signing Porto striker Mehdi Taremi, with Porto reportedly valuing the Iranian forward at £26m.Meanwhile, Tottenham have agreed a deal with Rosario Central to sign striker Alejo Veliz.
However, it has not yet been decided whether the player will return to the Argentine club on loan.
The Spurs view Veliz as a promising talent to nurture for the future, triumphing over other clubs in securing his signature. Get access to streaming the Premier League and more on NOW for only £26 per month for 12 months. You have the freedom to cancel anytime.
Spurs step up striker search

Kane is just 48 goals from breaking Alan Shearer's Premier League scoring record
The price you pay determines the value you receive. As Tottenham's chairman Daniel Levy negotiates with Bayern Munich's CEO, striker Harry Kane will consider the benefits and worth of a potential move. Although he has expressed his openness to the switch, Kane's stance on leaving before the first Premier League game of the season reflects his loyalty to his childhood club.
Kane's move to Bayern is not driven by money but rather his desire to leave a lasting legacy. One significant factor to consider is the Premier League goalscoring record. Kane has publicly expressed his ambition to add this historic accolade to his already impressive scoring records for Tottenham and England. In the past, this has been used as a reason for him not to move abroad. With 30 goals scored last season, he is also within reach of breaking this record.
However, relocating to Germany and joining Bayern doesn't necessarily mean giving up on that goal. It is reported that a five-year contract option is being considered. Regardless of whether the entire contract is fulfilled, there would still be an opportunity for Kane, known for his scrupulous physical management, to make a comeback and pursue the remaining 48 goals required to surpass Alan Shearer.
Joining Bayern would also almost certainly secure the long-awaited team trophy that has been absent from his list of accomplishments.
