In Rick and Morty, these VIPs aren't here to wager billions on the destiny of the Squid Game players. Instead, they're purchasing Kuatos, and one of them is getting ready by shaving his chest.

The episode begins with Morty accidentally fusing with Summer's belly, creating a "Kuat" in reference to a character from the sci-fi movie Total Recall. Summer seeks solace in a Kuato nightclub and meets others like her, but ends up being kidnapped and waking up to find Kuato Morty has been removed from her body after being mocked by their peers.

When she manages to flee and Rick catches up with them, she utilizes her psychic connection to converse with Kuato Morty and discover his location. It turns out that the Kuato nightclub owner has been betraying his own kind, eliminating the host bodies and selling the Kuatos for profit.

After the credits roll, we learn that the buyers are wealthy individuals similar to those in Squid Game. Two of them currently have Kuatos implanted, while the third in the middle is anticipating the installation of Kuato Morty, unaware that Rick and Summer have thwarted the entire scheme.

The three engage in a string of "69" jokes, with one mentioning how he paid "69 million flerbos" for his Kuato and another boasting about having "69 credit cards." However, their banter takes a sudden halt when one of them makes a distasteful joke about 69ing with his wife.
