Chicken Run 2 fans spot cameo from villain Feathers McGraw

Fans have noticed that an iconic Aardman Animations villain – Feathers McGraw – makes a cameo in the end scene of Chicken Run 2.

Feathers, heralded by some as one of the greatest villains of all time, made his first film appearance in the Wallace & Gromit movie The Wrong Trousers. Thought to be a chicken at first, Feathers is revealed to be a penguin when his plan to rob a museum of precious diamonds is thwarted. He is known for wearing a red rubber glove on his head to disguise himself as a chicken and unlike the original Chicken Run gang, he never speaks.

During the movie's debut weekend, fans spotted the villain in the final scene of Chicken Run 2. The original TikTok caption reads, "Watching Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and noticing a suspicious-looking chicken," and shows the final scene where Ginger, Rocky, and the gang make it a habit to break chickens out from various farms.

In the back row is Feathers McGraw, recognizable by his infamous red glove. "Feathers McGraw is always just around the corner," commented one fan in response to the clip. Another asked, "Does this mean Feathers McGraw was in the chicken farm?"

"Wow, that's truly iconic," chimed in another fan, with a fourth adding, "My only recurring nightmare is being chased by that guy. I was 5 and I'm still scared."

Fans also noticed that Feathers McGraw wasn't the only Aardman Animations cameo in Chicken Run 2.

One fan observed that they appreciated the use of the snail from Creature Comforts, which was visible as the snail listened to Fowler (David Bradley) in a previous scene while awaiting the gang's return from their heist. Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget is currently available on Netflix. Learn more about the sequel here.
