The troublesome clay chickens have returned for more excitement - but is there a post-credits scene in Chicken Run 2?
In 2000, the world was captivated as a chicken in a knitted hat faced off against a villainous farm owner determined to turn her and her companions into pies.
Chicken Run is hailed as one of the highlights in Aardman Animations' catalog, standing alongside the iconic duo of Wallace & Gromit. But with the anticipation for Chicken Run 2, fans are wondering if there is a post-credits scene. Here's what you need to know, but beware of spoilers!
Is there a post-credits scene in Chicken Run 2?
No, there is no official post-credits scene in Chicken Run 2.
The credits in true Aardman animation style are a lively display, featuring stills of the colorful cast and the various scrapes they got into throughout the movie. This is consistent with the original Chicken Run movie, which also did not have an official post-credits scene.
Both movies conclude with the characters finding peace and harmony on the chicken island they have created, and Chicken Run 2 picks up right where the original left off. Despite the seamless transition onscreen, there is a 23-year difference between the two movies.
The review of Chicken Run 2 described it as "2 in name and 2 in nature – Chicken Run: The Dawn of the Nugget doesn’t quite have enough steam to successfully fly the coop this time around. Netflix is the perfect platform for something lacking genuine creativity, making it a great movie to watch hungover on a Sunday or with children in need of entertainment. Sometimes, the original just can’t be matched."
Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget hits Netflix on December 15, 2023. Find out more about the sequel here and check out our other coverage below:

As a Gen Z fan, I was excited about the release of Chicken Run 2, but I was disappointed to learn that there is no post-credits scene. I think it would have been a great opportunity to tease a future installment or to give fans a little extra something to enjoy. However, I still enjoyed the movie and thought it was a fun and entertaining sequel to the original.
I think the review of Chicken Run 2 is accurate. The movie is fun and entertaining, but it doesn't quite live up to the original. It's still a good movie to watch with family or friends, but it's not a must-see. I would recommend it to fans of the original Chicken Run, but I would also caution them not to expect too much.
