It's a new director and a new era. I started questioning whether the casting choices made in the late 90s were still the best for the roles now. It's a highly personal creative process, and in some cases, I felt that the original choices didn't quite fit anymore. At other times, I believed they should remain the same. Ultimately, I felt like this film has evolved since the first one, the world has changed, and things have shifted on a fundamental level.
